Listen, we all know squats are awesome.  They're basically the king of strength exercises. But if you're serious about your squats, the shoes you wear actually matter A LOT.

You’ve probably seen those fancy ads for "squat shoes." You know, Olympic weightlifting shoes, crosstrainers, even running shoes...  But here's the thing: barefoot squatting blows them all out of the water.

Cross-Training Shoes:  These are a little better than running shoes.  They're more stable, but still not ideal for heavy lifting because they don't provide enough support.

 

The Case for Barefoot Squatting

Let's be real. All those fancy squat shoes just mess things up. You’re better off ditching them and going barefoot.  Here's why:
